Baltimore City

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A cassette radio valued at $300 was stolen Saturday from a 1984 Honda parked in the 700 block of W. Fayette St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Wilmington Ave. through a rear door Saturday and stole costume jewelry valued at $100.

Theft: All four chrome wheel covers were removed from a four-door 1992 Chevrolet parked in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. on Saturday.

Northern District

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders, two wedding bands, computer equipment, a gold watch and a printer, all valued at more than $650, were stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Weldon Ave. between Tuesday and Saturday by someone who entered through a rear door.

Robbery try: A male resident of the 500 block of W. University Parkway foiled a robbery attempt by closing his door on a gunman Saturday evening. Police said the robber had knocked on the apartment door about 7: 15 p.m., asking the occupant if he knew another man named Jerry. But when the visitor pulled a handgun and demanded money, the occupant closed the door -- hitting and breaking what turned out to be a toy gun, police said. The would-be robber fled.

Theft: A 23-inch bicycle valued at $345 was stolen Friday from a patron at the Roland Park swimming pool in the 600 block of W. University Parkway.

Burglary: Three bicycles with a combined value of nearly $900 were stolen from a garage in the 200 block of E. University Parkway on Saturday.

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders valued at nearly $300 were stolen from an apartment in the 5200 block of York Road on Friday.

Northwestern District

Carjacking: Police were seeking a man and woman who forced a man from his car Thursday morning. The victim, 62, was seated in his 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass with tags ALK 401 and parked in the 4000 block of Rogers Ave. about 11: 15 a.m. when a man armed with a length of metal pipe and his female companion forced him out of the vehicle and drove away.

Robbery: A teen-age female was in the 4000 block of Norwood Ave. on Saturday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of a gold ring of unknown value.

Robbery: A man, 35, was walking in the 5500 block of Park Heights Ave. about 4: 40 p.m. Friday when a gunman robbed him of three $100 bills.

Cab holdup: A driver for Royal Cab was about to leave after dropping off a fare in the 4900 block of Denmore Ave. about 3: 05 a.m. Friday when a gunman approached and robbed him of $50.

Burglary: Someone entered a storage shed in the 5300 block of Fernpark Ave. between midnight Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday and stole two lawn mowers valued at $600. On the same street overnight Friday, someone entered a storage shed behind a house and stole a gasoline can valued at $25. Police said the thefts appeared to have been committed by the same person.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Shootings: Police were investigating the shootings of two women and a man near an after-hours club in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive in Lansdowne about 5 a.m. yesterday. Police said the victims were not cooperating and have declined to give police details of the incidents. The victims were found by city police -- two of them in a car stopped by officers at Wilkens and Fulton avenues shortly after 5 a.m., the other walking on Washington Boulevard. All three were being treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man, 47, was in the 4900 block of Hazelwood Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $300 after hitting and choking him.
