Hayleck, Keller take posts with Baltimore Zoo

The Baltimore Zoo named Lorraine M. Hayleck controller and Andrea J. Keller public relations manager for the 123-year-old zoological facility.

Hayleck, a certified public accountant, formerly was controller for Federal Filings Inc., a Dow Jones & Co. subsidiary. A graduate of the University of Maryland, she resides in Dayton, in Howard County.

Keller, a Loyola College graduate, is former director of marketing for the Frederick Brewing Co. The Washington resident will coordinate external communications and assist in Web site development and strategic public relations planning for the park.

Christianna McCausland joins Weinberg, Harris

Weinberg, Harris & Associates named Christianna P. McCausland an account executive. She joined the Pikesville-based public relations and marketing agency in 1998 as an assistant account executive. A former free-lance writer, the Cockeysville resident is a graduate of Emory University.

Burkhardt, Voos move up at Hord Coplan Macht

Hord Coplan Macht promoted Joseph Burkhardt and Paul Voos to associates of the Baltimore building and landscape architecture and planning firm.

Burkhardt, a Pennsylvania State University graduate, joined the firm in 1997 and worked on several projects, including the downtown Baltimore streetscape, Cold Spring Lane streetscape and the University of Maryland, Baltimore Dental School Plaza.

Voos, a master's degree graduate of Morgan State University, has been with the firm since 1994 and is a landscape planner/designer. He has worked on projects including the Harford Road Corridor revitalization, the Gay Street/Middle East development plan, the Robert E. Lee Park pavilion restoration and the Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery.

Cursey, Sheppard appointed to Columbia Bank posts

Columbia Bank appointed Tamara M. Cursey as vice president for acquisition, development and construction lending, and Julia L. Sheppard as cash management officer for the Howard County financial institution.

Cursey will oversee the bank's relationships with builders and developers. A former assistant bank examiner for the Federal Deposit and Insurance Corp., the Foxridge resident is an MBA graduate of the University of Baltimore. Sheppard, formerly with Chevy Chase Bank, will work with area businesses to develop customized cash management plans, including cash processing, deposit verification and electronic banking and investment products.

Commercial real estate

Lewis is sales associate at MacKenzie Commercial

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services named Mandy Lewis as a sales associate. The Loyola College graduate, formerly a senior account manager with Aerotek Inc., will specialize in office leasing, representing both landlords and tenants.
