Cubs: Second baseman Mickey Morandini made a wild throw, ending his 44-game errorless streak. Catcher Benito Santiago left the game in the sixth inning and is day-to-day with a bruised left knee after getting hit on the leg with a foul ball.

Pirates: Pete Schourek will start tomorrow's game, replacing Jose Silva, who has soreness in his chest after a minor traffic accident earlier in the week. Schourek was dropped from the rotation after making his 10th start on May 26.

Reds: Steve Parris matched his season high by giving up nine hits in five innings. Barry Larkin singled twice to extend his hitting streak to 12 games (30-for-48). He's 6-for-8 career off Jose Lima.
