Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A stereo amplifier, compact disc player and two stereo speakers, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Monday from a 1994 Dodge truck parked in the 3700 block of Fort Armistead Road.

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Monday when he tried to leave Metro food market in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. without paying for medication valued at more than $100. After providing identification, the man was given a citation to appear in court.

Eastern District

Theft: Someone entered a second-floor bedroom in a house in the 600 block of Gutman Ave. on Monday and stole 132 compact discs and 50 video games, all valued at more than $2,400.

Robbery: A woman, 48, was in the 1000 block of N. Collington Ave. about 7 p.m. Monday when three men, one with a handgun, got out of a Ford Tempo and robbed her of more than $200.

Robbery: A driver for Checker Cab Co. was stopped in the 1800 block of Aiken St. about 3 p.m. Monday when a male passenger robbed him of nearly $100 at gunpoint.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrests: Two men were arrested Monday and charged with entering a house being built in the first block of Abbey Wood Court and stealing decorator door moldings, plastic piping and other items, all valued at more than $800. Charged with grand theft and released on their own recognizance were William Lanehardt, 29, of the 4300 block of Hallfield Manor Road and Steven Scolisky, 37, of the 500 block of 46th St.

Burglary: Cash, power tools and a radio were stolen Monday from Shell Electric Co. in the 7600 block of Lillian Holt Drive. The thief entered through a rear window.

Burglaries: Light fixtures, a furnace, oak hand railings, doors and oak kitchen cabinets, all valued at more than $2,400, were stolen during the weekend from four homes under construction in the 8100 block of Rose Haven Road .

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed NationsBank in the 5200 block of East Drive in Arbutus of an undisclosed sum of cash about 12: 30 p.m. Monday after giving a teller a note demanding money. Behind the bank, police recovered a dye pack that was placed among the cash and discarded by the robber. It was not known if the dye pack exploded.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Five 18-inch chain saws valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Monday from Perry Hall Lawn & Flower Power in the 3400 block of E. Joppa Road.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 6200 block of Sherwood Road of $25 about 3 a.m. Monday and drove off in a silver-colored Ford with tags CRW 895 that was stolen earlier in Baltimore City.
