Body identified as that of woman, 38

Officials determined yesterday that the body of a woman found in the Susquehanna River in Harford County this week is that of Brenda Ann Creel, 38.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Natural Resources said Creel, who lived in the 900 block of Rosedale Ave. in Glen Burnie, was identified by her dental records. Officials are investigating the cause of death.

Two fishermen discovered the body about 10 a.m. Monday about a mile downstream from the mouth of Broad Creek. Officials pulled the body from the water at 10: 32 a.m.

It is not known how long the body had been in the water.
