Dorothy Jeannette Brimer, 67, Social Security employee

Dorothy Jeannette Brimer, a Social Security Administration management assistant, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown. She was 67 and lived in Reisterstown.

She joined Social Security at the Woodlawn headquarters in 1980 and retired in 1996.

The former Dorothy Jeannette Briney, who was born in Bloomfield, Mo., received a bachelor's degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and master's degrees in history and education from the University of Missouri in Columbia. After moving to Reisterstown in 1980, she graduated from the paralegal course at Villa Julie College.

Private services were held Wednesday. A memorial service will be held tomorrow in Bloomfield.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roy C. Brimer; a son, Richard C. Brimer of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Rebecca K. Brimer Quoos of Westminster; a sister, Janice Connor of Holliston, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.
