Cardin to hold open meeting on Thursday

U.S. Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin will hold a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Linthicum library, 400 Shipley Road.

The 3rd District Democrat is a member of the House Social Security and Human Resources subcommittees. He has proposed legislation that would provide a drug benefit for Medicare patients who suffer from five major chronic diseases, and he has written to the president, calling for aggressive prosecution of war criminals in Kosovo.
