Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Cutting: Bernard Strange, 26, of the 3100 block of Milford Ave., was in critical condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital after a man attacked him in the 3600 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. near Liberty Heights Avenue about 9 p.m. Wednesday, slashing the right side of his neck with a broken beer bottle. Strange fled to a nearby Amoco service station, where a motorist getting gas tried to stop the bleeding. Strange was taken from there to the hospital by ambulance. Police said no arrest had been made and no motive was known.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: An 8 mm camcorder and a shopping bag containing cans of dog food, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a 1997 Toyota Corolla parked in the 1100 block of N. Charles St.

Northern District

Burglary: Jewelry, cash, a video camera, a compact disc player, a combination TV/videocassette recorder and a mountain bicycle, all valued at nearly $10,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 5500 block of Pimlico Road.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Carjacking/arrest: Police have charged a teen-age male with the armed carjacking of a 1991 Buick as Tuesday afternoon as the owner was leaving the vehicle near her home in the 600 block of Woodside Road. The car was spotted in the Gwynn Oak area minutes later and the driver was arrested after he crashed the car into a tree on a dead-end street. Christopher Brandon Crawford, 16, of the 6800 block of Eastridge Road in Woodlawn was charged as an adult with armed carjacking, auto theft and eluding police. He was being held on $150,000 bail at the county Detention Center in Towson.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Three men forced their way into a house in the 7900 block of Dalrose Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday and robbed its occupants, two women and a man, of an undisclosed sum of money.

Theft: Tools and heavy machinery, all valued at more than $5,000, were stolen from Maryland Steel Enterprise in the 1100 block of Red Lion Road between March 3 and April 2. The theft was reported yesterday.

North Point

Robbery: A man, 52, was at Dundalk and Baltimore avenues about 5 p.m. Wednesday when another man robbed him of a gold watch valued at more than $100. A 37-year-old resident of the 1600 block of Gray Place was arrested while fleeing the scene on a moped.

Theft: A tank containing 260 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen yesterday from a construction site in the 4600 block of Green Cove Circle. The loss estimated at $900.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Two circular saws were stolen from inside a house under construction in the 9800 block of Liberty Road between May 28 and Wednesday.
