"I think `Lester's Creation' by Paula J. Bussard is a great book. It's about a lion who hurt his thumb on a hammer. The lion's name was Lester and he was a construction worker. What do you think will happen to his thumb? Read the book to find out what will happen."

"I like the book `Rug Rats Blast Off!' by Stephanie St. Pierre because it is funny. The main characters are Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica. They are pretending to be in outer space. My favorite part is when Chuckie takes out the map and it gets messed up."

"In `The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body' by Joanna Cole, the characters are Wanda, Arnold, Kesha, Carlos, Tim, Ralphy, Liz and Ms. Frizzle. Rachael's facts are wonderful because she uses her imagination to show you how the brain stores information. This book has a lot of interesting facts about the human body."
