Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Shooting: A man, 24, was driving west in the 600 block of E. 25th St. near Greenmount Avenue about 11: 30 p.m. Saturday when an occupant of a passing car fired several shots at him from a handgun, striking him in the neck at least once. The other vehicle sped off. The victim was in critical condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman of her wallet containing cash and checkbooks in the first block of E. 26th St. about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Robbery: A woman, 30, was in the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave. about 10 p.m. Friday when a gunman struck her with the weapon and robbed her of nearly $200.

Central District

Robbery: A driver for Statewide Sedan Service was stopped in the 800 block of Lennox St. about 11 a.m. Saturday when a male passenger he had picked up on North Avenue struck him in the face and robbed him of $80.

Theft: A cellular phone, headphones, a videocassette recorder carrying bag and other property, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Saturday from a car parked in the 1500 block of N. Charles St.

Southeastern District

Theft: Jewelry, 200 compact discs, a checkbook and other items, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Saturday from a 1997 Chevrolet parked in the 400 block of S. Caroline St.

Burglary: Cash, jewelry, video games and a videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen Friday night from a house in the 100 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 22, was in the 2500 block of Ashland Ave. about 1 a.m. Saturday when a gunman demanded his money. When he resisted, the gunman shot him in the abdomen and fled. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 20, of a pack of cigarettes valued at about $3 in the 1400 block of N. Bond St. about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: A 1995 Targa-brand mo-ped valued at nearly $1,600 was stolen in the 600 block of St. Anns Ave. overnight Friday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Three boxes containing 400 compact discs, 150 videotapes and clothing were stolen from a storage locker in a multifamily dwelling in the 1000 block of Halstead Road between May 14 and Saturday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A man, 44, was walking in the 5200 block of Baltimore National Pike about 2: 15 p.m. Saturday when he was assaulted by another man, who robbed him of a pint bottle of vodka, valued at about $2.

Theft: A woman took her watch, valued at $1,300, to Gordon's Jewelers at Security Square Mall to be repaired Saturday. After she placed it on the counter, another woman picked it up and fled.

Stolen car: A white 1985 Buick Skylark with no tags was stolen Saturday in the 6700 block of Wilmont Drive.
