Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment, clocks, an amplifier, clothing and beer, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3100 block of Eastern Ave.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at $200 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 400 block of N. Linwood Ave.

Stolen car: A 1996 Honda Civic with tags F225572 was stolen Monday in the 2300 block of Boston St.

Cutting: Police were seeking two men who attacked a man, 31, in the 4700 block of Eastern Ave. about 2: 30 a.m. Sunday and cut him on the left forearm with a knife. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.

Stolen car: A 1981 Cadillac with tags EYY 678 was stolen over the weekend in the 700 block of Mapleton Ave.

Central District

Robbery: A man, 27, was in the 1300 block of Eutaw St. about 4 a.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a jacket and $10, all valued at $90. The robbers drove off in a silver-colored Kia automobile.

Burglary: Tools and a 35 mm camera, all valued at more than $400, were stolen between Saturday and Monday from a building being renovated in the 200 block of E. Redwood St.

Theft from vehicle: A briefcase valued at $200 was stolen Monday from a car parked in the 700 block of St. Paul St. The property was recovered a short time later in a nearby alley.

Southern District

Robbery: A boy was riding his silver-colored Mongoose bicycle, valued at more than $100, in the 900 block of Bayard St. about 3 p.m. Sunday when an older boy stole it.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1998 Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle with tags M040043 was stolen Monday from the parking lot at the Rotunda mall in the 700 block of W. 40th St.

Stolen car: A 1986 Jeep Cherokee with Maine vanity tags FORGET was stolen Monday in the 100 block of E. 30th St.

Stolen car: A 1993 4-door Nissan car with tags EHN 283 was stolen Monday in the 6100 block of Chinquapin Parkway.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery try: A boy, 15, was in the 600 block of Old Home Road about 8: 30 p.m. Monday when another boy armed with a baseball bat demanded his bicycle. When the younger boy refused, the other youth, whom the victim knows, swung the baseball bat at him but missed. The armed youth fled and was being sought.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Alberge Lane through a rear sliding glass door Monday and stole stereo equipment and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $3,000.

Burglary: A video game and a videocassette recorder were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 800 block of Bayner Road.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two men were walking in the 8000 block of Belair Road about 3 a.m. Monday after eating at a nearby 24-hour restaurant when they were stopped by two men, one with a .45 caliber handgun and the other a rifle, who robbed one of them of two packs of cigarettes, a wallet and cash, all valued at more than $50. The second victim was not robbed.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Heavy-duty tools valued at more than $3,000 were stolen Sunday from a construction site in the 12300 block of Rosslare Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a house in the first block of Bucksway Road in Owings Mills between May 7 and Saturday.

Stolen car: A tan 1983 Buick Le Sabre with tags RKF 692 was stolen Sunday in the 800 block of Templecliff Road.

Burglary: A lawn mower of unknown value was stolen from a shed in the 9200 block of Samoset Road between May 9 and Sunday.

Robbery: A man, 73, was in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville about 6 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $70.

Vandalism: Someone entered a house under construction in the 3700 block of Sylvan Drive over the weekend and poured white paint and varnish on the walls and floors. There was no estimate of damage.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: An air conditioner valued at $300 was stolen from a basement storage locker in an apartment building in the first block of Debonair Court between May 1 and Wednesday.
