Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrests: Police entered a house in the 1600 block of Shadyside Road yesterday and arrested four people on a warrant charging them with possession of drugs and deadly weapons. Officers seized 400 to 500 grams of suspected heroin with a street value of $100,000; suspected marijuana; four large-caliber handguns; a shotgun; cell phones; $3,200, and a 1999 Chevrolet Ventura. Charged were Cherie Brown, 29, and her sister, Julia Brown, 25, both of the Shadyside Road address; their father, Julius Brown, 49, of the 1800 block of N. Hope St., and his brother, William Brown, 43, of the 1600 block of Abbotson St. All were processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center, said Sgt. William Sekinger of the district's drug enforcement unit.

Central District

Theft/arrests: A man and woman were arrested Sunday and charged with stealing property valued at $600 from a 1998 Honda Sonata parked in the 300 block of S. Charles St. Charged were Lawrence Ballamy, 41, of the 400 block of Presstman St., and Ivy Reary, 40, of the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St.

Woodlawn Precinct

Murder try: A boy, 16, was leaving a basketball game in the 3300 block of Kelox Road about 6 p.m. Sunday when he was attacked by several other youths, one of whom stabbed him in the right chest, right shoulder and back. The victim was in good condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrests had been made.
