Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shootings: Two males were in the 2800 block of Madison St. about 1: 30 a.m. Saturday when they were shot by an unknown gunman. One victim, 16, was shot in the left shoulder and was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The other victim, 25, was shot in the right thigh and was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police knew of no motive for the shootings.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1985 Buick with tags XPJ 947 was stolen yesterday in the 4500 block of N. Rogers Ave.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A calculator, book bag, books, cassette tapes and jacket, all valued at almost $550, were stolen Saturday from a 1995 Honda Accord parked in the 200 block of N. Paca St.

Burglary/arrests: Two men were arrested early Saturday after someone broke into a vacant apartment in the 800 block of George St. and stole copper piping and a hacksaw. Charged with burglary and processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center were Eugene White, 31, of the 900 block of Whitelock St. and Ronald Johnson, 33, of the 1100 block of W. North Ave.

Theft: A woman, 23, was about to enter a liquor store in the first block of E. North Ave. about 9: 30 a.m. Saturday when a man grabbed $6 she held in one hand and fled.

Stolen vehicle: A black 1998 Chevrolet Suburban with unknown Maryland dealer tags and the property of a Baltimore County police officer was stolen early Saturday in the 100 block of South St. A cellular phone, portable television and the officer's badge were in the vehicle.

Southeastern District

Theft: Two Honda motorcycles, one a 1996 model with unknown tags and the other a 1994 model with tags 306D34, were stolen between May 9 and Saturday while parked in front of a house in the 900 block of Fells St.

Stolen trailer: A 38-foot flatbed trailer with tags 554745G, owned by K & D Trucking in Harford County, was stolen in the 2300 block of Broening Highway between May 9 and Saturday.

Theft from vehicle: Power tools valued at almost $600 were stolen Saturday from a 1992 Ford truck parked in the 200 block of S. High St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery try: Two men, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, were about to rob a cashier at Hecht's department store in Security Square Mall about 6: 35 p.m. yesterday but fled without any money when another store employee approached.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A microwave oven and cordless telephone, all valued at almost $150, were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 1600 block of Old Eastern Ave.

Theft: Clothing valued at more than $300 was stolen yesterday from a clothesline in the back yard of a house in the 1600 block of Williams Ave.

North Point Precinct

Theft from vehicle/arrest: A man, 41, was arrested Saturday after he broke into a 1998 Honda Civic on Searles Road near Westfield Road and stole stereo equipment, compact discs and a carrying bag, all valued at $500.

Theft/arrest: An East Baltimore woman, 38, was arrested Saturday when she tried to leave the Kmart store in the 200 block of North Point Road without paying for clothing valued at several hundred dollars.

Robbery: A boy, 11, was kneeling to tie his shoelaces at Trading Place and Dunmanway in Dundalk about 4 p.m. Saturday when an older male threatened him with a knife and stole his mountain bicycle valued at more than $200.

Theft: Several power-lift cylinders valued at $1,000 were stolen between May 9 and yesterday from a boat parked outside a house in the 4000 block of North Point Road.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 9500 block of Hickory Falls Way on Saturday and stole a silver-colored bicycle valued at $400.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Three cases of milk, 10 cases of eggs and margarine were stolen overnight Friday from a freezer at Mrs. Pose Original Cheesecake Inc. in the 4300 block of Old Milford Mill Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: A yellow go-cart valued at $1,000 was stolen yesterday from the back yard of a house in the 5800 block of Mimosa Lane.
