Seton Keough's Kristin Dulay gave up two runs in the first inning but held No. 10 Mount de Sales scoreless for the next nine, as the Gators ousted the defending champs from the Catholic League tournament, 4-2, in 10 innings yesterday.

Dulay struck out nine for the Gators against the fifth-ranked Sailors in a semifinal at Catonsville Community Center.

Freshman catcher Daniel Goode drove in the game-winning run with an infield single, her third hit and second RBI, and Dulay helped her cause by singling in another run.

"No better time than this week to win," said a grinning Dulay, turned 17 two days ago and who out-dueled Sailors pitching ace Christy Urban.

"I can't say enough about her," said Seton Keough coach Chris Ashby, whose team improved to 14-5 and avenged a regular-season sweep by Mount de Sales (15-6).
