Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Assault: A man, 22, and a girl, 15, were arguing in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday when the girl cut his face and both arms with a broken bottle. He was treated at Maryland General Hospital and released. The girl was being sought on attempted murder and deadly weapon charges.

Robbery: Two men, one with a .22-caliber handgun, robbed a man, 35, of more than $70 about 2: 40 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of S. Paca St.

Arrest: Officer Joseph O'Neill was responding to a report of a man with a handgun in the 1700 block of N. Calvert St. about 8 a.m. Saturday when he detained the man, seized a 9 mm Ruger semiautomatic handgun and arrested him. A man, 22, whose address was not available, was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

Shooting: A girl, 14, was leaving the city-owned Baltimore Neighborhood Recreational Facility -- the former Shake 'N' Bake Recreation Center -- in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 10: 30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman fired a shot at another man who was entering the building. The gunman missed his target and shot the girl in the left knee. The gunman escaped and the girl was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southern District

Theft: A criminal citation was issued to a woman, 30, who tried to leave the Safeway supermarket in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. on Saturday without paying for baby formula valued at almost $40.

Church burglary: A man broke into Holy Temple Apostolic Church in the 1300 block of Myrtle Ave. on Friday night but fled when a congregant confronted him. No property was reported stolen and the intruder was being sought.

Northern District

Bank burglary: Someone broke a window with a rock, entered NationsBank in the 5600 block of The Alameda and stole coins from a teller's station overnight Friday.

Theft from vehicle: Garden equipment valued at almost $40 was stolen Saturday from a Ford pickup truck parked in the 1100 block of Fillmore St.

Stolen car: A 1994 Nissan with tags BPG 762 was stolen Saturday in the 3700 block of Elm Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A 1994 Dodge van with tags M048723 was stolen Saturday in the 600 block of E. 30th St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A purple and silver 18-inch bicycle, valued at more than $100, was stolen Saturday from a storage shed in the 4300 block of Kenwood Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A man, 18, was in the 7300 block of McClean Blvd. about 11 a.m. Saturday when another man placed a handgun to his back and robbed him of more than $200. The gunman drove off in a green 1996-1999 Ford Taurus with unknown tags.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A video camera, camera bag, 35 mm camera and a pair of sunglasses were stolen Friday from a dwelling in the first block of Augusta Wood Court. A car parked outside also was broken into but nothing was taken.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: A boy, 12, was in the 8100 block of LaSalle Road about 11 a.m. Saturday when two boys, one with a handgun, and a girl demanded his money. He resisted and was shoved to the ground and hit in the head. His assailants fled. A suspect was identified and expected to be arrested. The victim was not injured.
