Police officer discovers two bodies in Reisterstown Road apartment

Two bodies were discovered yesterday afternoon in a Northwest Baltimore apartment, police said.

Detective Rich Purtell said an officer on patrol was stopped about 1: 30 p.m. by a man who told him two people were dead in an apartment in the 4800 block of Reisterstown Road. The officer investigated and discovered the bodies in the one-bedroom unit.

Neither body has been identified, and a preliminary investigation failed to reveal the cause of death, Purtell said.
