Permission has been granted for the Veteran Corps of the Fifth Regiment to visit Boston in June, armed and equipped. Permission is sought from the governors through which states they will pass. -- The Sun, May 4, 1899.

Citizens of Annapolis plan to erect a monument or lay out a square near St. Anne's Church as a monument to Dr. W. S. Southgate, who was rector of St. Anne's for 30 years. -- The Sun, May 25, 1899.
