"My favorite Dr. Seuss book is 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas.' I like that book because I think the Grinch learned a lesson as well as us children did. Also the Grinch has a different image on things."

" 'Henry and Mudge' stories by Cynthia Rylant are my favorite because Mudge is a funny dog. He always drools on people and jumps up on them."

"My favorite book is 'The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood' by Howard Pyle. It is a really exciting book about a man called Robin Hood. He made a lot of enemies fast and ended up an outlaw. He lived in Sherwood Forest with his other outlaw friends. My favorite part is when John Ford's men and Robin and Will-o-the-Green's men are fighting. You should read this book because it is full of fun and adventures. The pictures are really colorful and it helps to tell us about the book."
