Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Robbery try: A gunman entered Community Learning Center in the 2400 block of Allendale Road about 2 p.m. yesterday and demanded money. When an employee told him no money was there, he fled.

Assault: A male student, 18, at Southwestern High School in the 200 block of Font Hill Ave. was assaulted by at least six other youths outside the school about 2: 30 p.m. yesterday. The teen-ager was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare for minor head and facial injuries. No arrests had been made, and it was not immediately known if the other attackers were students at Southwestern. Police knew of no motive for the assault. Two of the six youths were known to police and were being sought.

Northeastern District

Arrest: Perry Wilson, 38, of the 600 block of N. Lakewood Ave., was arrested Saturday and charged with robbing at least 10 people, including juveniles, of their bicycles in and around the 3200 block of Belair Road since September. Sgt. Brian Matulonis said Wilson, on parole for robbery, was arrested shortly after a youth was robbed of his bicycle near Belair Road. Wilson was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Arrests: Two men were arrested over the weekend and each charged with five armed robberies in the Belair Road corridor in the past several weeks. Kennard D. Hartley, 18, of the 4400 block of Chalet Court and Devin Smith, 19, of the 3300 block of Dudley Ave. were processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center. Police recovered a handgun believed used in the robberies and 50 rounds of ammunition at Hartley's residence.

Central District

Theft: Clothing, a videocassette recorder, a microwave oven, a guitar, a coffee table and a vacuum cleaner, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen between April 10 and April 14 from an apartment at 2 Charles Plaza that is being renovated after a Feb. 5 fire.

Theft: After a Denver Boot was placed on the front wheel of a 1992 Saturn Sunday in the 100 block of E. Read St., the vehicle's owner removed the device, valued at nearly $400, and drove away. The car was seen Tuesday in the 200 block of E. Read St. and towed to an impounding lot. The car owner and the boot were being sought.

Southern District

Theft: Someone entered an office Tuesday at Strike 3 Bar in the 600 block of Portland St. and took more than $600 from a desk.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, $100 and a radio, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from an apartment in the first block of Newhall Court.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: After a man requested a pack of cigarettes from a clerk at High's dairy store in the 6900 block of German Hill Road about 9 p.m. Tuesday, he pulled a handgun when the clerk placed them on the counter and demanded money. When the clerk ran to a rear room, the gunman picked up the cigarettes, valued at $3, and fled.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A radio, computer equipment, videocassette recorder, money and other property were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Fitzharding Lane in Owings Mills.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry of unknown value was stolen Tuesday from the bedroom of a house in the 6800 block of Sauter Lane.
