"I read a terrific book called 'The Principal from the Black Lagoon' by Mike Thaler. It is about a boy named Hubie who gets sent to the principal's office for pulling off his teacher's wig. He heard some scary things about the principal. One of the things is that the principal uses the tall, bad students for coat hangers. After Hubie met her, he found the principal wasn't so bad after all."

" 'The Bear Scouts' by Stan and Jan Berenstain is my favorite book because Pa Bear and the scouts went camping and they had so much fun until Pa Bear got chased by bats."
