Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Burglary: A gold ring, boombox and two pairs of shoes, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2400 block of N. Calvert St.

Southern District

Theft: A Visa debit card was stolen from the mailbox of a house in the 100 block of W. Clement St. between April 1 and April 16 and used to withdraw cash from the owner's bank account and to purchase merchandise, all valued at more than $1,200.

Eastern District

Theft/arrest: A woman, 37, was arrested Sunday when she tried to leave the CVS drugstore in the 2000 block of Harford Ave. without paying for several containers of headache medicine valued at more than $64.

Theft: A woman, 31, was given a criminal citation ordering her to appear in court after she was stopped Sunday while trying to leave Stop, Shop & Save supermarket in the 900 block of N. Caroline St. without paying for three jars of coffee valued at more than $20.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A man was arrested and another was being sought in the armed robbery of Rustic Inn in the 11400 block of Philadelphia Road about midnight Sunday. Two men, one with a shotgun, entered the inn about 11: 55 p.m. One stood watch at the door and the other demanded money after he fired twice into the ceiling. The robbers fled with an undisclosed sum of money. Several minutes later at Belair and East Joppa roads, police pulled over a Chrysler LeBaron that had been stolen in Towson. As officers approached, two occupants left the vehicle and fled. Police said the driver was captured nearby and the passenger escaped. The name of the man arrested and the charges against him were not available.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A boy, 13, was riding his bicycle at Wise and Langport avenues about 8 p.m. Sunday when an older male knocked him to the pavement and stole the bike.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery try/arrest: After withdrawing money from an automated teller machine at NationsBank in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road near North Plaza Mall about 1 p.m. Sunday, a woman was getting into her car when a man shoved her against the vehicle and tried to remove cash from her coat pocket. The man fled when a passer-by approached but was arrested nearby. Jelane Sefu Frazier, 18, of the 9000 block of Waltham Woods Road was charged with assault and attempted robbery.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: After breaking the glass front door, a thief entered Uncle Wiggly's Ice Cream & Coffee Cafe in the 6900 block of York Road on Sunday and took $400.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and stereo equipment, all valued at almost $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle.

Burglary: A television and microwave oven, all valued at $400, were stolen Saturday from a house in the first block of Twin Circle Way.
