Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Rape: A woman, 28, was beaten with a baseball bat and raped early Saturday in a house in the 900 block of W. Lexington St., the home of a man she had met at a party. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center. No arrest had been made.

Stolen car: A green 1995 Mazda with tags DJV 630 was stolen Saturday in the 1100 block of W. Lanvale St.

Southern District

Burglary: Five car radiators valued at $400 were stolen Saturday from Blue Note Variety Store in the 700 block of Washington Blvd.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of Hollins Ferry Road on Friday and stole more than $600 that the occupant left unattended on a windowsill.

Theft: A motorbike valued at more than $100 was stolen Saturday from the back yard of a house in the 2900 block of Rayshire Road. Four males seen leaving the area were being sought.

Theft: Two leather jackets and a camcorder, all valued at almost $900, were stolen Saturday from a 1988 Ford parked in the 400 block of S. Charles St.

Eastern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a male, 16, of $1 about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of E. Lanvale St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Vandalism: Someone using a sharp object punctured at least one tire on seven vehicles parked in the 200 and 300 blocks of Elinor Ave. overnight Friday.

Burglary: While the occupant of a house in the 8400 block of Avery Road slept Saturday morning, someone entered after removing the molding from a rear door and stole jewelry and cash, all valued at $130.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Cash, food and bathroom accessories, all valued at more than $800, were stolen overnight Friday from a house in the first block of Crabtree Court.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 800 block of Southerly Road overnight Friday and removed almost $150 from a bedroom dresser.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglaries: Cash and property were stolen from businesses in the first block of North Park Drive over the weekend. From Wright Management Consultants, a video camera and almost $40 were stolen. From Hahn's Gourmet Deli, cash and cigarettes, all valued at almost $1,800, were stolen. From Mason, Ketterman and Morgan, $5 and a key were stolen. Police said $130 and almost $200 in U.S. postage stamps were stolen from Cox, Ferber & Associates.

Burglaries: At least five businesses at Hunt Valley Mall and the mall office were burglarized over the weekend. Almost $200 was stolen from the Deb Shop and almost $1,300 was stolen from Lens Crafters. No property or money was taken from the Hair Cuttery, Hunt Valley Saddlery, Collectors Castle or the mall office.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen car: A 1988 Cadillac with tags WCL 691 was stolen Saturday in the 3800 block of Sylvan Drive.

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags AAJ 424 was stolen Saturday in the 3800 block of Cherry Brook Road.

Burglary: Hand and power tools, all valued at almost $1,000, were stolen overnight Friday from Fox Upholstery in the 7000 block of Milford Industrial Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A woman was in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road about 10: 25 a.m. yesterday when a man in his 50s stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $500.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Son Italian Deli in the 3200 block of North Point Road early yesterdayand stole six cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed sum of money from a video poker machine.
