Sabotage in Washington `Beaver' did it: Conspiracies at work in harvesting of Japanese cherry trees.

April 17, 1999

THE COVER story that this was the work of one beaver working alone did not meet the eyeball test. So the government quickly retreated to the two-beaver hypothesis, then three. If you want to believe it.

It was Japanese cherry trees that came down around the Tidal Basin, and we all know how jealous the Communist Chinese regime is of Japanese influence in Washington. Chinese intelligence payments to elect President Clinton are on record. So is the visit of Prime Minister Zhu Rongji. They want you to believe it was a coincidence. Hah!

Of course, if it wasn't the Chinese, it must have been Osama bin Laden. He will stop at nothing. The New York Times has just reported that the Justice Department does not actually have evidence to convict him of anything. Which only proves the lengths to which that fiend will go.

The third suspect is Slobodan Milosevic. His wily maneuvers to open diversionary fronts are well known. He is already trying to arrange a union with Russia, to bring Moscow in and start World War III, within which he can carry out his schemes unnoticed. No one doubts his wickedness, so why not this?

Of course, President Clinton, should anyone ask, would deny it. And that would only prove his culpability. The man is well known to be guilty of anything he is caught denying.

The beaver in the newspaper photograph looked innocent. Do not be deceived. All beavers look alike, except to another beaver. Who says they shot the right one?

Kenneth Starr should investigate. If Attorney General Janet Reno won't let him, you will know something is wrong.
