"My favorite book is 'Nate the Great and the Missing Key' by Marjorie Sharmat. This book is about solving a mystery about a key. Annie could not give a birthday party for her dog unless she found her lost house key. At the end there was a clue and Nate the Great remembered where it was and went back to Annie's house to tell her where to find it. I like this book because I love dogs and love to solve mysteries."

"My favorite book is 'The Backward Bird Dog' by Bill Wallace. It's about a bird dog that was being trained to point quail. All his owners, except the mother, did not see him point but he did. The mother brought him hunting. He smelled the quail. Then he pointed. Find out the rest when you read 'The Backward Bird Dog.' "
