"My favorite book is 'The Statue That Walks at Night' by Joan Lowery Nixon. It is about two boy detectives named Brian and Sean. It was a mystery book. I liked it because I like mystery books and museums."

"My favorite book is 'Surprise Island' by Gertrude Chandler Warner. I like it because Henry, Jessie, Violet and Benny made a museum with birds, shells and insects. Benny discovers a cave, and Henry discovers a shell pile. I like this book because it is very interesting."

"Have you ever been on a roller coaster? If you have you will like 'The Beast 2' by R.L. Stine. The story begins at an amusement park. This is what happens to the main characters. They get onto a roller coaster called the Beast and ride it two times. The first time they get off safely, but the second time the girl character goes back in time. This book has lots and lots of action. One of the things I learned is that sometimes roller coasters can be dangerous."
