Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man, 19, was riding a bicycle in the 3200 block of Elmley Ave. about 11: 30 p.m. Wednesday when an unknown assailant fired several shots at him, striking him three times in the lower torso. He was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A motive for the shooting was not known.

Robbery: A woman was walking in the 1300 block of Stonewood Road about 1 a.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed her of an undisclosed sum of money.

Robbery: An unarmed man robbed another man of property valued at more than $40 in the 2900 block of Hamilton Ave. about 1: 15 a.m. Wednesday.

Burglary: Electronics valued at more than $700 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 5700 block of Cedonia Ave.

Burglary: Cash and property, all valued at $700, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2300 block of E. Cold Spring Lane.

Theft: A large-screen television valued at $600 was stolen Wednesday from a dwelling in the 1000 block of Armistead Way.

Southern District

Theft: Two wrought-iron gates valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Wednesday from a fence in the rear yard of a house in the 1500 block of Light St.

Eastern District

Assault: A woman, 48, was in the 1600 block of E. Federal St. about 4 p.m. Wednesday when she was attacked by two men, one of whom struck her in the face with his fists and the other with the butt of a handgun. She suffered a fractured facial bone and was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrests had been made.

Assault: A woman was walking in the 1800 block of N. Bethel St. about 6: 30 p.m. Wednesday when she got into an argument with her boyfriend, who dragged her into an alley and struck her with a discarded wooden door frame. The woman refused medical treatment. No arrest had been made.

Theft: Jewelry valued at more than $200 was stolen Wednesday from the bedroom of an apartment in the 1600 block of E. Eager St.

Northern District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, TV cable box, leather jacket and boots were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 600 block of Parkwyrth Ave. The thief entered through the front door.

Stolen car: A four-door 1991 Plymouth with New Jersey tags BUL 66D was stolen Wednesday in the 300 block of E. University Parkway.

Stolen car: A 1998 Jeep Cherokee with tags M179767 was stolen Wednesday in the 5200 block of Roland Ave.

Burglary: A dozen cassette tapes, valued at more than $200, were stolen March 29 from a house in the 700 block of Gorsuch Ave. The thief entered through a window.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary/arrest: A combination TV/videocassette recorder, a rifle, a shotgun, money and household items were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7600 block of Belair Road. While police were investigating the incident, they searched a camping trailer parked near the house and arrested a man who was hiding inside. Police said all of the property except the shotgun was recovered. The man, whose identity was not available, was charged with burglary.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 57, who had locked her keys in her car on the parking lot of a nearby shopping center, was walking home about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man in a ski mask robbed her of her purse at York and Dunkirk roads. The purse contained $5 and personal property.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A fax machine and a copier, all valued at $2,000, were stolen from a construction company trailer parked in the 11700 block of Jennifer Road.
