The Baltimore Zoo will be hopping all weekend with its annual Bunny BonanZoo celebration. With an egg hunt, holiday games and crafts, live children's entertainment and costumed characters including Hoppy the Bunny, the event promises to be bouncing. Visitors will enjoy watching the newborn animal arrivals to the Children's Zoo Farmyard as they frolic about -- offering a true sign that spring has sprung.

The Bunny Bonan Zoo takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Baltimore Zoo, Druid Hill Park. $9; $5.50 for ages 62 and over and for ages 2 to 15; free for ages under 2. Free admission for ages 2 to 15 Saturday before noon. Call 410-366-LION.

Ghost tours

Get spooked as you take a walking ghost tour Saturday through Ellicott City. Learn about the dramas of life and Civil War in this historical city, its mysteries, supposed hauntings and ghost tales. Stories are taken from the book "The Hauntings of Ellicott Mills," which is based on eyewitness accounts, newspaper reports and library research. The Howard County Tourism Council conducts the tours.

Ghost tours begin Saturday and run on the first Saturday of each month through November. Tours leave at 8:30 a.m. from the Howard County Visitor Center, 8267 Main Street, at the side entrance of the old post office. Reservations recommended. $7; $5 ages 12 and under. Not recommended for ages under 6. Groups of 10 or more can schedule own tours. Call 410-313-1900.
