Baltimore City
Northeastern District
Arrest: Acting on a tip, officers of the Neighborhood Services Unit arrested a male, 17, who was being sought in a shooting Wednesday in the 4400 block of Kavon Road. Baba Tunde Soremkum of no fixed address was charged as an adult with attempted murder in the shooting of a male about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of Belair Road. Sgt. Brian Matulonis said the victim was in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Southeastern District
Drug arrest: Police entered a house in the 6200 block of Fortview Way with a search and seizure warrant Tuesday night and arrested the occupant, a male, 17, and seized crack cocaine and heroin, all valued at more than $1,300, and two handguns. Gonzales Rodrigruz was charged as an adult. Also Tuesday night, police raided a house in the 3400 block of E. Baltimore St. and seized more than $9,000 and a large quantity of gel caps believed used to package heroin. Arrests were pending.
Central District
Robbery: An unarmed man robbed another man, 68, of $80 about 8 a.m. Wednesday in the first block of E. Eager St.
Eastern District
Burglary: Two men used a ladder to enter a second-floor window in a house in the 1400 block of E. Oliver St. on Wednesday and stole a gold clock, wall pictures, 60 drinking glasses and clothing, all valued at more than $500. When a neighbor asked the men why they were entering the house, one of them replied, "We're helping to clean out the house."

Garrison Precinct
Murder try: A man, 50, was removing clothing from his car in the 8700 block of Lisa Lane in Randallstown about 11 p.m. Wednesday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $400. As the men dragged the victim toward their van, the gunman struck him in the head with the weapon. Before the assailants drove off, the gunman fired a shot at the victim's head but missed. The victim was treated at Northwest Hospital Center and released.
North Point Precinct
Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a woman, 20, in a restroom on the Dundalk campus of the Community College of Baltimore County about noon March 4. The rape was reported Wednesday when the victim was examined at Dundalk Medical Center. The woman told police she was in the restroom when a man entered, locked the door and raped her.
Carjacking: A male motorist was parked in the 2800 block of Liberty Parkway about 2: 40 a.m. Wednesday when a gunman ordered him out of his silver-colored 1986 Mercedes-Benz 300 with unknown temporary tags and drove off.
