Lincoln is vice president of city tourism agency

The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association named Daniel M. Lincoln vice president of tourism and communications.

He will be responsible for several departments, convention and leisure travel marketing, visitor services and publications. Before coming to Baltimore, the Ohio State University graduate was a vice president of the Greater Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Whitmore Print appoints Goldscher vice president

Whitmore Print and Imaging appointed Jay Goldscher vice president for sales and administration at the Annapolis-based printing services firm.

A board member of both the Printing Industries of Maryland and Printing Industries of America, the University of Maryland graduate formerly was director of marketing for Graphtec of Maryland.

Banking and finance

Provident Lease appoints Kellinger vice president

Provident Lease Corp. Inc. appointed Patrick J. Kellinger as a vice president of the Provident Bank of Maryland subsidiary. He will be responsible for providing equipment leasing and financing for midsize to large companies and tax-exempt organizations.

Kellinger formerly was with Transamerica Business Credit Corp. A graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, the Ellicott City resident is active with the Boy Scouts and the Howard County Youth Program.

Legal and insurance

David E. Ralph joins Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman

Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander hired David E. Ralph as an associate in the Baltimore law firm.

Formerly an associate with Shapiro & Olander, the University of Maryland law graduate will concentrate on corporate and municipal litigation. A member of the Maryland Air National Guard, he lives in Owings Mills.

Professional

Heery International names Furman vice president

Heery International named John M. Furman as vice president of the Baltimore-based regional architectural, engineering and construction management firm. With the firm since 1984, he will be responsible for delivery of construction services and operations in the tristate area.

A master's graduate of Johns Hopkins University, he is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including the Project Management Institute of America, Engineering Society of Baltimore, Maryland Industrial Development Association, Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Baltimore Committee.

Commercial real estate

Manekin promotes Snider to retail assets manager

Manekin Corp. named Katherine Snider asset manager for the Columbia-based real estate company's Maryland/Virginia retail properties portfolio.

A graduate of the University of Redlands (Calif.), she will handle the daily operations, financial management and planning for client- and company-owned retail properties.
