S. Korean ambassador to speak at JHU

Lee Hong-koo, South Korea's former prime minister and current ambassador to the United States, will speak tonight at the Johns Hopkins University on the balance of power in East Asia.

The talk, at 8 p.m. in Shriver Hall on the Homewood campus, is part of the school's student-run Symposium on Foreign Affairs, "Approaching the Millennium: The Changing Parameters of the International System."

Other speakers in the series include former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres on Feb. 20 and Indian National Congress President Sonia Gandhi on March 10.
