YOU'D HAVE TO BE unconscious, or maybe just a husband, not to have noticed that Valentine's Day is coming up. Everywhere you look there are red hearts, Cupid cutouts and advertisements hawking specials for this romantic holiday. But I know that, as usual, my dear hubby will be in total shock when the big day arrives. He will make a mad dash for the nearest greeting card rack or flower mart and grab just about anything. One year, I received a "Happy Valentine's Day, Mother" card from him.

I have come to accept that my husband just doesn't do holidays. Oh, well. Keep loving, Pasadena.
