Schnitzlein operations VP for Royal Farms

Royal Farms, the Baltimore-based chain of convenience stores, appointed Albert H. Schnitzlein as vice president of operations.

The Towson University graduate formerly was an executive vice president for Hardee's Food System Inc. He began his fast-food industry career in Towson as a counterman with the old Gino's hamburger chain.

Comcast names Gordon public affairs director

Comcast Cablevision named Jim Gordon, a Towson University graduate, director of government and public affairs for the metropolitan Baltimore area.

He will oversee public and government affairs activities for the cable provider, which has regional headquarters in White Marsh.

Kevin Best joins Eisner as account supervisor

Eisner & Associates hired Kevin Best as an account supervisor. Formerly with the Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., he is a graduate of the University of Virginia and completed his graduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Banking and finance

Sutton, Pritchett promoted at 1st Mariner Bank 1st Mariner Bank appointed Richard Sutton as vice president and manager of its Severna Park branch. He will be responsible for staff management and supervision, daily operations and new business development.

An MBA graduate of Loyola College, the Anne Arundel County resident is active in the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce.

1st Mariner Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of 1st Mariner Bank, named M. Wingate Pritchett Sr. sales manager of its new White Marsh office. The Cockeysville resident previously was with Mason-Dixon Bancschares Mortgage Co. and First Home Mortgage Corp.

Health care

Sinai campus services headed by Robert Turner

Sinai Hospital promoted Robert Turner to vice president of campus services for the Northwest Baltimore health care facility. He formerly was associate vice president of facilities.

His responsibilities will include construction management, interior/exterior design services, grounds, security and clinical engineering. A resident of Hanover, Pa., Turner is a graduate of Essex Community College.
