Three slated for induction into women's Hall of Fame

Kincaid, Kindbom, Fleming Baldwin to join county's elite athletes

January 31, 1999

The third annual Howard County Women's Athletics Hall of Fame inductions and alumnae basketball game will be held Saturday at River Hill High School.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the always entertaining alumnae game. The inductions of Ginger Kincaid, Kori Kindbom and Auretha Fleming Baldwin into the Hall of Fame will follow, and the evening will be capped off with a girls varsity basketball game between Howard and River Hill.

Kincaid has been at Glenelg for over 20 years, and currently is coaching field hockey and lacrosse. Kindbom was an outstanding three-sport athlete at Atholton before graduating in 1981, and Fleming, a 1980 Oakland Mills graduate, excelled in two sports.

Shirley Cohee, a former coach at Atholton, and Kelly Storr, the current girls basketball coach at Wilde Lake, will direct the two teams in the alumnae game.
