January 24, 1999

State police in Westminster are seeking information about the street robbery of a Westminster teen-ager Thursday evening on the outskirts of town.

The 16-year-old boy was walking to church at 6: 15 p.m. on Old Gorsuch Road west of Gorsuch Road when a man approached him from behind and demanded his wallet, according to police. The youth took his wallet from a coat pocket and tossed it over his shoulder to the robber, who did not show or threaten to use a weapon.

When the assailant fled, the youth turned to see him, but police said the boy was not able to provide a description of the man.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Westminster barracks at 410-848- 3111.
