ANNAPOLIS -- A 21-year-old Annapolis man died after being shot in a taxicab last night on Monroe Street in Annapolis, Annapolis police said.

Wayne Dwight Addison of the 100 block of Bright Water Drive was found shot several times in a cab in front of Sanky's Groceries, police said. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8: 30 p.m, police said.

Police said a witness told them that a man with whom Addison, a passenger in the cab, had been arguing fired four shots at him through the cab window.
