Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Robbery: A man, 37, was robbed of his eyeglasses, valued at $300, in the 2700 block of Spelman Road on Monday. The robber implied he was armed with a handgun and threatened to shoot him.

Eastern District

Assault: Police were seeking a boy, 14, who shot at a man in the 200 block of E. Lafayette Ave. about 1: 30 p.m. Monday. The man was not injured.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Two bowling balls, a compact disc player, several compact discs and three pieces of luggage containing clothing, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen from a 1996 Jeep parked Monday in the 100 block of Commerce St.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a woman, 25, of her bus pass, ATM card and $46 about 3 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of Eutaw Place.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft: Police were seeking a man who entered a house Monday in the first block of Eastship Road and stole a television, stereo equipment, videocassette recorder, microwave oven and cameras, all valued at more than $2,000.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Monday from the back yard of a house in the 8200 block of Rosebank Ave.

Robbery: A man, 28, was at 51st Street and Wynbrook Road when two men robbed him Monday of a coat, watch and ring, all valued at nearly $400.

Theft from cars: Several cars parked in the 1700 block of Brookview Road were broken into overnight Sunday and property of unknown value was stolen. Damage to one car was estimated at more than $1,000.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $200 was stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Valley Lake Place.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: More than $500 was stolen Monday from a locked cash box at Diamond Auto Glass in the 1000 block of Leslie Ave.

Theft/arrest: A man, 32, was arrested Monday when he attempted to leave Home Depot in the 6000 block of Baltimore National Pike without paying for an air-compressor valued at nearly $250.

Theft: Police were seeking a woman who stole $140 worth of clothing from the Kmart store in the 8700 block of Liberty Road on Monday.

Theft: A cellular phone, $100 cash, keys, pants and a shirt, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Monday from a locker at Bally Total Fitness in the 6550 block of Baltimore National Pike.
