Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A male, 18, was walking in an alley in the 4900 block of Aberdeen Ave. about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday when a gunman grabbed him. When the man spun around, the gunman fired at least four shots, hitting him in the shoulder. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Burglary: A television, compact discs, videotapes, answering machine, TV games and stereo equipment were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1300 block of W. Pratt St. The thief may have entered with a key.

Burglary: Twenty cartons of cigarettes valued at $400 and cash were stolen Saturday from Fort Avenue Market in the 1500 block of E. Fort Ave.

Theft: A leather coat and a set of jumper cables, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Sunday from a 1991 Dodge Shadow parked in the 1400 block of Sumwalt Court.

Central District

Shooting: A male, 17, was in serious but stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot in the back at 7: 47 p.m. Sunday while walking in the 2200 block of Druid Hill Ave. The victim was unable to provide police with information about who shot him or why.

Robbery: A man, 38, was in the 200 block of W. Saratoga St. about 11: 40 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of $300.

Theft: A compact disc player, two-way radio and several compact discs, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a 1990 Toyota Camry parked in the 100 block of W. Lombard St.

Theft: A night stand, mirror, pictures, three tables and an antique telephone, all valued at more than $600, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1400 block of Wilmer Court.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, entered a house in the 500 block of McMechen St. about 8 p.m. Sunday and robbed a male, 18, of $4. The gunman threatened to shoot the man's mother.

Eastern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of an army jacket and $8 in the 1500 block of E. Lafayette Ave. about 12: 20 a.m. Sunday.

Northern District

Theft: T wo suitcases containing clothing valued at $500 were stolen Sunday from a 1998 Infiniti parked in the 100 block of W. 22nd St.

Stolen vehicle: A 1995 Plymouth Voyager with New York tags 4RE 312 was stolen Sunday in the 800 block of E. 43rd St.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A gunman accosted a male employee of the Giant food market in the 3600 block of Milford Mill Road about 6: 30 p.m. Sunday and forced him back in the store and into the office. There, he ordered the employee to remove an undisclosed large sum of money from a secured area and fled.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: After attending Sunday services at Christ the King Church in the 300 block of Sollers Point Road, a woman, 82, was about to enter a car about 11 a.m. when a gunman robbed her of $20.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A camera, camera bag, compact disc player and several compact discs, all valued at more than $2,300, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 300 block of Morris Ave.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Marco's Magic Shop in the 800 block of Reisterstown Road over the weekend and stole cash and a sword.
