Hartford foils Towson in OT

Justin Bailey had a game-high 23 points, surpassing 1,500 points for his career, as Hartford rallied to defeat Towson in overtime, 60-57, last night in an America East game in Connecticut.

Keyon Smith helped Hartford (5-9, 3-3) force overtime with a layup in the closing seconds that tied the game at 49. Chris Eames' rebound off a missed free throw with 3.1 seconds left in overtime clinched the Hawks' win.

The Tigers (2-11, 1-4) shot just 25 percent (8-for-32) in the first half but came back to shot over 63 percent in the second half.

Alphonso Hawes led Towson with 12 points and 19 rebounds.
