Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: A man, 21, was in the 500 block of Mount Holly St. about 1: 45 p.m. yesterday when another man shot him at least twice in the upper body. The victim was in serious but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Rape/stabbing: A woman, 28, was in the 2400 block of Greenmount Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a man forced her into the back yard of a vacant house and raped her. He then stabbed her twice in the upper back, bound her hands with electric cord and covered her face with her jacket. After freeing herself and calling police, the woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Robbery: A female, 17, was in the 400 block of Heath St. about 11 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of $3 and drove off in a Honda Civic with unknown tags.

Theft: A cellular phone, a watch and cash, all valued at $620, were stolen Tuesday from a 1995 Ford Mustang parked in the 1600 block of Patapsco St.

Central District

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested and charged with entering a house in the 2100 block of Park Ave. and stealing more than $400 from a bedroom night stand Tuesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Church burglary: A television, a videocassette recorder and a cordless telephone, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen from Immaculate Conception School in the 100 block of Ware Ave. overnight Monday.

Burglary: A laptop computer and clothing, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a student's room at Goucher College in the 900 block of Dulaney Valley Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Crown service station in the 7500 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Robbery: A woman, 18, was driving her car on Eastern Avenue about 4 p.m. Tuesday and was at South Marlyn Avenue when she was forced to stop by the driver of another car that cut her off. Police said three women got out of the other car and robbed her of a purse containing jewelry and cash, all valued at $407. A short time later, police arrested one suspect and were seeking the others.

North Point Precinct

Vandalism/arrest: A boy, 15, was arrested after he threw a snowball at a house in the 6800 block of Dunbar Road on Tuesday and broke a window valued at $150.

For the Record

Arrest: A man charged with stealing luxury cars in Baltimore County and Virginia in November was arrested Saturday in High Point, N.C., by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Winston-Salem, N.C., police on a warrant charging him with violating probation for a bank robbery conviction. Charles E. "Junior" Maynard, 40, of Glen Burnie is being held in High Point, pending extradition to Baltimore County or Virginia.
