RWD elevates Deborah Ung to senior vice president

RWD Technologies Inc. promoted Deborah T. Ung to senior vice president, enterprise resource planning services group, and named her to its board of directors.

Ung has 15 years' experience in developing performance support interventions for technical initiatives for the Columbia-based strategic consulting, implementation, change management, training, documentation and end user support company.

A Purdue University graduate, Ung will have responsibility for RWD Technologies' strategic initiatives with SAP America, with Price Waterhouse Coopers and with SAP AG in Europe and the United Kingdom.

Banking and finance

McGraw and Benner join 1st Mariner Mortgage 1st Mariner Mortgage Corp. hired Mickey McGraw as senior loan officer for the Baltimore-based 1st Mariner Bank subsidiary and William A. Benner as vice president and sales manager at its Crofton branch.

McGraw, an Anne Arundel Community College graduate, previously was with Provident Mortgage Corp.

He will specialize in first-time buyer services and Federal Housing Authority and Department of Veterans Affairs financing initiatives.

Benner will be responsible for sales and fulfillment of mortgage loans, and will work primarily with area builders. A graduate of the College of William and Mary graduate, the Arnold resident formerly was with Allied Federal Financial in Severna Park.

Legal and insurance

Henry T. Tucker Jr. hired by law firm of Ober/Kaler

Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver announced that Henry T. Tucker Jr. has joined the Baltimore law firm as counsel in its commercial finance and corporate departments. His practice will include secured transactions and asset/stock purchases.

A University of Virginia law graduate, he formerly was corporate counsel to Southern Retailers and Fas-Mart Inc.

Zera, Bowman, Inskeep promoted by Riparius

Riparius Construction Inc. named John Zera, vice president for pre-construction; Jerry Bowman, vice president for engineering; and William Inskeep, vice president for operations at the Timonium-based construction management company.

Zera, a Timonium resident, has been with the firm since 1996. Bowman, a seven-year employee who resides in New Freedom, Pa., will provide technical engineering support on company projects and assist in new business development.

Inskeep, a Bel Air resident, formerly was the firm's senior general superintendent; before joining Riparius, he was with McCormick Construction Co.

Health care

Donald R. Giller named vice president at LifeBridge

LifeBridge Health, formed by the merger of Sinai Health System and Northwest Health System, named Donald R. Giller as vice president of marketing and development. He will have responsibility for marketing, corporate communications, community services and community health trust and development. The Boston University MBA graduate had been vice president of strategic development for Sinai Hospital.

Commercial real estate

Ferrandi, Green named leasing associates

KLNB Inc. named Stephen J. Ferrandi and Jonathan M. Green as leasing associates for the regional commercial real estate services company.

Ferrandi, an Owings Mills resident, is a graduate of Towson University. Green, is a graduate of Washington College and is active in the Baltimore-Washington Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Ellicott City.

Both men will work from KLNB's Columbia office.
