Power boat show

Boating enthusiasts will find plenty to see when the International Power Boat Show cruises into the New Atlantic City Convention Center, 2001 Kirkman Blvd., Wednesday through Jan. 17. Considered the largest indoor boat show north of Miami, the New Jersey event features more than 400 boats, including a rare display of million-dollar models stretching up to 65 feet in length.

Also featured are hands-on activities. Catch an imaginary marlin on a full-size fishing yacht simulator or attend informative educational boating and fishing seminars conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Power Squadron and national and local experts.

Show hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $12, $6 for children under 12. On the first day of the show, boat manufacturers are admitted for free. Call 877-466-7433.
