Licensing course begins Jan. 12

The Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors School of Real Estate Inc. is offering the 60-hour real estate licensing course beginning Jan. 12 and running through Feb. 6 at 1306 Bellona Ave. in Lutherville.

Classes meet from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The charge is $195 plus the cost of books. For additional information or to register, call the GBBR at 410-337-7200.

Homebuyer class starts Thursday evening

A free, three-part Homebuyer Education Class will be held at 6: 30 p.m. Thursday and Jan. 14 and 21 at St. Jerome's Head Start Center, 765 W. Hamburg St.

Sponsored by North American Mortgage Co., the sessions are designed to give participants an opportunity to meet with industry professionals and receive information on the home-buying process.
