Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft: A cassette radio valued at $200 was stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Volkswagen parked in the 800 block of Hollins St.

Theft: Hand and power tools valued at more than $600 were stolen Tuesday from a car parked in the first block of S. Poppleton St.

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of Cole St. on Tuesday and stole three gold rings that were on the fireplace mantel.

Northwestern District

Carjacking: A man, 24, was stopped in the 6600 block of Vincent Lane about 8 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, forced him from his 1998 Chevrolet Malibu with tags EVJ 761 and drove off.

Robbery: A man, 42, was in the 3100 block of Wylie Ave. about 4: 30 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $20.

Eastern District

Rape: Three men raped a woman Tuesday afternoon at a house in the 700 block of E. 23rd St. The woman fled the house and was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrests have been made.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone adapter valued at more than $30 was stolen from a 1995 Nissan parked Tuesday in the 2500 block of Maryland Ave.

Burglary: Someone broke into P. J.'s Pub in the 3300 block of N. Charles St. through a door Tuesday and removed more than $500 from a cash register.

Burglary: A 19-inch television valued at more than $200 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Guilford Ave. The thief entered through a window. A second house on the block also was broken into Tuesday and a compact disc player, valued at more than $100, was stolen.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A male, 17, was walking in the 11100 block of Pulaski Highway about 11 a.m. Tuesday when three men in a pickup truck stopped and ordered him inside at gunpoint. When the men found a paycheck for $160 in the youth's pocket, the driver drove to Midway Liquors on Pulaski Highway in Joppatowne and ordered the victim to cash the check and not call police. After cashing the check, the youth re-entered the vehicle and was robbed of the money. From the liquor store, the victim was driven to Old Joppa and Trimble roads, where he was released unharmed.

North Point Precinct

Assault/arrest: A woman, 35, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree assault by pointing a 3-foot-long sword at a man. Police said the woman was baby-sitting the man's children in his home in 7800 block of St. George's Drive when they got into an argument, during which she allegedly pointed the sword at his neck. The man was not injured.

Theft/arrests: Two teen-age boys were arrested Tuesday when they tried to leave the Value City department store in the 7700 block of Eastern Blvd. without paying for several shirts, valued at nearly $400.

Burglary: A 19-inch TV combination videocassette recorder, valued at $400, was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1900 block of Midland Road. The thief entered through a basement window.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Kirsim Court in Freeland through a window Tuesday and stole three diamond rings of unknown value.
