Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Robbery: A man was in the 6200 block of York Road about 6: 45 p.m. Sunday when a gunman robbed him of a leather jacket, compact disc player and several compact discs, all valued at nearly $400.

Stolen car: A 1993 Nissan with tags ZKL 404 was stolen Sunday in the first block of Highfield Road.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man, 31, was riding a mountain bicycle on Reisterstown Road near West Belvedere Avenue about 11 p.m. Sunday when a gunman ordered him off the bicycle and rode away. The bicycle was valued at more than $200.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 6600 block of Eberle Drive through a rear window Sunday and stole a videocassette recorder and several electronic games, all valued at $400.

Eastern District

Cutting: Two women were arguing in the 2100 block of Barclay St. about 11 p.m. Sunday when one of them cut the other on the left arm with a knife. The victim refused medical treatment. The other woman was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

Assault: Police were seeking a man who struck another man, 38, with a drinking glass during an incident in the 2400 block of Llewelyn Ave. on Sunday night, cutting the victim's forehead. The victim was treated at Church Hospital for a three-inch-long laceration and released.

North Point Precinct

Assault: At least two men forced their way into a house in the 2500 block of Yorkway about 12: 30 a.m. Sunday and assaulted a female occupant. The woman was treated for minor injuries at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Police said the assault was the result of an earlier incident they declined to describe.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Friendly's Restaurant in the 9500 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 12: 30 a.m. Sunday.

Essex Precinct

Burglary try: Someone attempted to enter a house in the 2100 block of Birch Road on Sunday by cutting a basement window screen and pushing the front door. Police believe the burglar fled when the alarm went off.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the McDonald's restaurant in the 2100 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 12: 45 a.m. Sunday. The pair fled on foot toward the light rail station.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A man, 40, and a teen-age boy were at Winands Road and Hupa Place in Randallstown about 6: 30 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of a silver necklace and a leather jacket.

Burglary/robbery: A man forced his way into a house in the 12000 block of Bonfire Drive about 9: 45 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from a couple while threatening them with a metal pipe. Finding no money, the man stole a pair of boots before fleeing.

Robbery attempt: A woman was in the 300 block of Pleasant Ridge Road about 10 p.m. Saturday when a man attempted to steal her purse. The woman resisted and he fled.

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the first block of Bucksway Road in Owings Mills on Sunday by using a garage door opener in a car parked in the driveway. The thief stole a cell phone and tools of unknown value.

Robbery: A teen-age boy was standing at a bus stop at Liberty and Chapman roads about 11 p.m. Saturday when a large group of males approached. One in the group implied he was armed by keeping one hand in his jacket pocket and demanded the youth's money. The victim gave him $15, and a leather jacket and jewelry, both of unknown value.
