Four charged after 2 are shot in Westminster

Three men and a woman were charged yesterday in the shooting of two people in an apartment on Sullivan Avenue, authorities said.

Four people entered the apartment, in the first block of Sullivan Ave., about 1: 15 a.m., police said. Two had guns drawn and fired three shots, striking a man and a 17-year-old, they said.

The victims had not been identified last night.

A man who was shot in the back and neck was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was in serious condition last night, police said.

A 17-year-old received a minor wound when a bullet ricocheted, police said. He received medical attention but was not hospitalized, police said.

Arrested were Michael C. Blow, 18, of Milford Mill; Dion W. Echols, 22, of Pikesville; Malcolm K. Epps, 20, of Randallstown; and Nicole S. Luby, 18, of no fixed address.

Each was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault and one count each of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, reckless endangerment, use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence and wearing or carrying a handgun.
