Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Two men broke into a house in the 800 block of S. Clinton St. about 8 p.m. Monday and assaulted and robbed the male occupant, 85, of cash. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Southwestern District

Vandalism: Someone forced open the door of the bulletin board outside Wildwood Parkway United Methodist Church in the 700 block of Wildwood Parkway Sunday and stole several letters and rearranged others. The Rev. George A. Stansbury, the pastor, said damage to the bulletin board, its wooden door and lock, and the missing letters was estimated at $700.

Southern District

Burglary/assault: A husband and wife were arrested Monday and charged with breaking into a house in the 400 block of Norris St. on Sunday and assaulting a female occupant. The victim suffered minor injuries. No property was reported stolen.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man was in the 1400 block of Aisquith St. about 2: 15 a.m. Monday when another man shot him. The victim was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery: Two men, one with a large caliber handgun, robbed a man of more than $100 about 6 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of N. Broadway. The victim was treated at Church Hospital for minor injuries.

Robbery: A woman, 51, was in the 2300 block of Harford Road about 5: 40 p.m. Monday when a man pushed her to the pavement and stole her purse containing cash and personal property, all valued at more than $200.

Burglary: A refrigerator, television, wicker chair, clothes washer, stereo equipment, compact disc player and a cassette deck, all valued at more than $2,500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1700 block of Aisquith St.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A generator and paint sprayer, all valued at $900, were stolen from a storage trailer parked in the 12200 block of Pulaski Highway on Nov. 11. The burglary was reported Monday.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A fax machine, power tools and a pair of tennis shoes were stolen from Riggs-Distler Welding Inc. in the 11000 block of Pulaski Highway between Saturday and Monday.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrests: Three teen-age girls were arrested Monday when they attempted to leave Value City department store in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for clothing valued at $400.

Burglary: A burglar caused nearly $600 damage to several doors and windows Monday in a failed attempt to enter the office at St. Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the 2100 block of Dundalk Ave.
