Minnesota: Not making the NCAA tournament the year after reaching the Final Four has been quite a motivation for the Gophers, who at 5-0 are the only unbeaten team in the Big Ten.

Toledo: The Rockets are off to a 7-0 start and can lay claim to being the best team in the state, having beaten both Ohio State and Xavier. Dayton is up next tomorrow.

Teams moving down

Miami of Ohio: After a 4-0 start helped the RedHawks reach No. 22 in the country, road losses to Xavier and Wisconsin-Green Bay sent them out of the Top 25.

Temple: The Owls have lost four straight, most recently Wednesday at home against Wisconsin, and are now 4-4.
