Major League Baseball: Announced that each member of Yankees voted a full World Series share will get $312,042, almost $100,000 more than previous record. Padres will receive $204,184.

Astros: Agreed to $1.1 million, two-year deal with IF Tim Bogar.

Braves: Agreed to $1.1 million, one-year deal with P Mike Remlinger.

Brewers: Claimed former Orioles P Joe Borowski off waivers from Yankees.

Giants: Signed P Greg Hansell. Signed P Bronswell Patrick to minor-league contract; invited him to spring training.

Indians: Named Bud Black special assistant to GM.

Orioles: Named Bob Schaefer major-league scout.
