Teams moving up

Penn: With a victory over Temple, a narrow loss to Kansas and a star named Michael Jordan, the Quakers have displaced Princeton as the Ivy League's glamour team.

Pittsburgh: The No. 20 Panthers are in the Top 25 for the first time since the final ranking of the 1992-93 regular season after beating then-No. 13 Xavier and No. 4 Kentucky in Puerto Rico.

Teams moving down

Xavier: Losing to Pitt wasn't so bad, but getting beat by San Francisco was embarrassing for the now 23rd-ranked Musketeers.

Tennessee: A preseason top 10 ranking is ancient history after losses to Arizona and Miami of Ohio, but the Vols looked their shakiest in barely beating Memphis Wednesday.
