North County High planning dinner theater

The North County High School Drama Club will present a dinner theater performance of "The Man Who Came to Dinner" by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman at the school the first two weekends next month .

Dinner is at 6 p.m. Dec. 4, 5 and 6 and 2: 30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 13; the curtain goes up after the dishes are cleared.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.

A show at 2: 30 p.m. Dec. 12 is scheduled as an ice cream social. All tickets for that performance are $8.

The St. Philip Neri Home School Association is having a breakfast with Santa Claus Dec. 6 in the school hall.

Seatings will be at 10: 30 a.m. and noon. Santa is bringing free stocking treats for the children and will be available for photos with children for $2 each.

Games and crafts activities will be available for children.

The cost of breakfast is $4 for adults and $3 for children. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted free.

Nutrition group: Brooklyn Park Senior Nutrition Group meets from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in the old Lindale-Brooklyn Park Middle School, 200 Hammonds Lane. The group is open to people ages 55 and older. Programs include crafts, exercise, oil painting, lunches, trips and speakers. Information: 410-222-4464.

Bingo: Community Advocates for Senior Opportunities and Services sponsors senior bingo at 7 p.m. Mondays at the Arundel Improvement Association, 705 Cross St., Brooklyn Park. Admission is $3. The group meets at 11: 30 a.m. the third Tuesday of the month at the improvement association building. Membership is open to county residents ages 55 and older. Information: 410-761-1769.

Saturday Night Alive: Saturday Night Alive at Townsend Avenue Baptist Church, a monthly opportunity to know God better, is held at 7 p.m. the first Saturday of each month. The church is at Fifth Street and Townsend Avenue in Brooklyn. Information: 410-355-0347 or 410-789-3647.
